Guideline

  • Design to be Computer Graphic or Hand Drawing, Photo Print is not accepted
  • If you use computer graphics to create your design please use the template below and then submit it via this webpage
  • If you draw your design by hand please print off the template below and draw your design directly on to the template. Please then scan the template and submit it via this webpage
  • Students can submit us their artworks in Jpeg, AI, GIF, or PSD Format
  • Design to be 10 or less unique Colors. E.g. deep blue and light blue are treated as 2 unique colors
  • Design Dimensions to be in A3 Size. Please refer to the templates on our website
  • Fabric Color of the Tee to be White/Black/Grey/Yellow/Blue/Green. Please refer to the templates on our website (Fung, please make the template for the mentioned color)
  • No Sex or Violence elements on the Design
  • Design to be your own Original Work, has not been previously published, and does not contain any Trademarks, Logo, Copyrighted Material, or any other Intellectual Property belonging to any third party, or any material

 

Evaluation Scheme

50 Points – Creativity and Aesthetics
Creativity and the overall design aesthetics are perhaps the most important aspects of any design. We have always believed that creativity is a unique gift, and those who can utilize it effectively through eye-catching designs are worthy of praise. Moreover, the graphics should be fused onto the Tee. We judge the aesthetics based on the whole Tee Design, but not the graphics itself.

50 Points – Effectiveness and Practicality
Aside from aesthetics, the design should also emphasize the audience resonance. Can the design tell a story, mind and attitude that can impulse audience to wear or buy it? In other words, a design piece must not only look great, but it should possess the right attributes to make it easily marketable to potential clients or customers.

Awards

  • Most Favorite Award
    All participating design will be posted online on 22 May 2009 and let public to vote for their Favorite Tee Design. Awarded will be given to the Design which gains the Most Votes.

  • Gold Award (1 award for each school)
    HKD500 YATA Coupon + HKD500 Teelocker Coupon

  • Silver Award (1 award for each school)
    HKD400 YATA Coupon + HKD400 Teelocker Coupon

  • Bronze Award (1 award for each school)
    HKD250 YATA Coupon + HKD250 Teelocker Coupon

  • Designs, which win the Most Favorite Award and Gold Award, will be produced as Tee and launched in the Tee Festival in YATA Department Store, Hong Kong (30 June 2009 - 15 July 2009)

  • デザインはコンピューターグラフィックス、及び手書きで作成。写真は禁止
  • コンピューター・グラフィックスで作成する場合には、以下の原型に直接デザインを書いてください。それから、このウェブページを通じて応募してください。
  • 手書きで作成する場合には、以下の原型を印刷して、デザインを書いてください。デザインが出来た後、スキャンしてこのウェブページを通じて応募してください。
  • デザイン画はJpeg（ジェイペグ）、Adobe Illustrator（アドビ　イラストレーター）、GIF（グラフィックス・インターチェンジ・フォーマット）またはPSDのフォーマットで提出しても構いません。
  • 10の色以下を使用（例えば、濃い青と薄い青を使用の場合は、二つの色です）
  • デザイン画はA3サイズの用紙を使用（Tシャツの原型をTeelockerのウエブサイトで確認してください）
  • Tシャツの布地は白、黒、グレー、黄色、青、緑
  • 不快なデザインは禁止
  • 自分でデザインを作成してください。刊行したもの、商標、ローゴー、著作権を持つものは禁止。
  • 応募枚数規制なし。インターネットを通じて応募してください。

 

評価点（100ポイント）

魅力的なデザイン: 創造力、及びデザイン美学 (50ポイント)
デザインに対しては、創造力とデザイン美学が重視されます。創造力はユニークな能力であり、魅力的なデザインを通して創造能力を高めることに価値があります。　創造的で、美学的なデザインを作成してください。受賞された方のデザインはTシャツになります。グラフィックスだけではなく、全体のデザインに対して評価されます。

売れるデザイン:　効果的、及び実用性 (50ポイント)
一般消費者が気に入るデザインを作成してください。効果的及び実用性を表すデザインを作成してください。すなわち、魅力的なデザインだけではなく、売れるデザインを作成してください。
